Come on Irene (and she did)…

I would like to sing the praises of the person who designed my new business card. That ‘humdinger’ of a person is Irene. I find it difficult to say “I’m an artist” or “I’m a designer” without my brain screaming “wanker” so when it came time to organise business cards I kinda froze. Then I remembered this vibrant bubbly girl who bought one of my cups at last November’s artisan markets and mentioned she was a graphic designer. So I defrosted long enough to give her a call.

She did something that all good designers should do but many don’t. She listened, then asked questions and then listened some more. The end result is a card that makes me feel proud when I hand it out.

Three cheers to Irene. To see more of her work go here
